song

I've posted this here because I'm always wondering how this song goes whenever we watch "Classical Baby: The Poetry Show".  (BTW, that whole "Classical Baby" series put out  by HBO Family has been a big hit with my LO, and I'll be sad when he outgrows it.  It's good, basic exposure to art and music, and in my humble opinion, much better than anything I've seen from "Baby Einstein".)

"The Swing"

How would you like to go up in a swing,
Up in the air so blue?
Oh, do I think it the pleasantest thing
Ever a child can do!

Up in the air and over the wall,
Till I can see so wide,
Rivers and trees and cattle and all
Over the countryside!

Till I look down on the garden green,
Down on the roof so brown,
Up in the air I go flying again,
Up in the air and down!

~ Robert Louis Stevenson (A Child's Garden of Verses)
