you win, mom.

When LO was not yet a toddler and I would long for him to say his first words, when I would imagine the sweet conversations we would have someday, I used to inwardly roll my eyes when my mom would chuckle knowingly and tell me that one day I would be all, "I wish this kid could just be quiet for ONE SECOND!"

My friends, today I think I have hit that point. (Don't tell my mom, 'k?)

I think the toughest part of it is that he wants me to actively participate ALL THE TIME! "Come look, Mom! Look! Mom! Come look!" It's the "come" part that gets me. Moving my eyes in the direction of the action isn't good enough for him - he's not satisfied unless I stop what I am doing and physically move my body right in front of whatever it is he's doing. I think we are both ready for preschool to start! :-)

Keisha, I could have written this post WORD FOR WORD! I want to bang my head on the counter sometimes...Colin also wants me to play with him at all times, but he has to choreograph the action - Mom, stand there, say this, that's not where I want you, the pirate doesn't say that, look there, now say this, NOT LIKE THAT! - lord help me. :-)
